The new home of winemaker Cantina Antinori looks like the hideout of a Bond villain who maybe showed a little more architectural restraint, but not much. All glass and rich brown, treated steel, the structure is cut directly into the Bargino hillside.

The upper section houses grape-processing facilities and a small eatery. Newly planted vines out front and covering it’s roof should soon blend it back into the hill.

Stripped grape stems to be used for grappa.
