Chiesa di San Salvatore al Monte

The 15th-century church sits on a hill above Piazzale Michelangelo and offers postcard views (if you’re into macabre postcards, and I am) of Florence.

Every night the monks sing Gregorian chants.  They’re very old men.

And you can park there if the lot at Piazzale Michelangelo is full and you’re unwilling to push the made up spots by one more car.
